Rain and Wind, Makings of a Coastal Storm Hatteras

September 26, 2015
Kate Pullen

It has been raining for 24+ hours straight.

The wind has steadily picked up and the ocean is angry.

The weather is supposed to deteriorate even more through out the day.

These photos were taken around Cottage Avenue off of Old Lighthouse Road.

Also a few taken at the Outer Banks Motel.

The next few high tides should be pretty interesting.

We will be coming down from NYS in early October. Thank you for showing us what is happening in the Outer Banks and Buxton. Hope you all make it safely thru this storm.

Oh my, it looks like you’ve received quite a bit. I will be interested in how things look when it’s all over .Better days ahead to all.
