Living the “HI-Life”

HI-Life is Hatteras Island’s unique natural and historical significance; it attracts tourists from around the world. Daniel’s ongoing pursuit to use documentary photography to capture life on Hatteras Island- from sunrise to sunset, sea to sound, has proven to be a catalog of culture, history, and environmental changes. We’re privileged to call this Island home, and blessed to be able to share our love for this place through the lens.

Daniel’s photographs of Hatteras Island Life, i.e. “HI Life,” have been featured in regional and national magazines and news outlets. Prints of his work are available online, in our studio, and at the following locations:

Natural Art Surf Shop, Buxton

Outer Banks Boarding Company, Nags Head

Kinnakeet Clay, Avon

Eastern National, The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Buxton
