An Evening at Cape Point, NC.

I apologize if I show too many photos of Cape Point on Social Media and this Blog, but it really is a special place.

When I was a kid all the local families would meet up to hang out on the beach and fish at the Point. Some of my fondest memories are from the Point.

It’s always been really important to me for my children to experience that.

A lot of things have changed on the Island but Cape Point is still the same, Almost…….(I will just leave it at that)

I took Kenzilla out last night to watch the sunset. (She’s my mini-me, and she can’t get enough of the beach.)

If you haven’t experienced “Blues Running” at the beach it is really cool.

The Blue Fish were so thick out there last night that Kenzilla kept saying, “Daddy there are fish everywhere!!!”

They were feeding on Minnows and driving them up on the beach.

You could literally catch them in a net… or your hands.

It was surreal: RAW weather + Fishermen/Women + Sunset all at once. Blessing to experience.

This truly is a “One of a Kind Place.”

I love Cape Point.!

Awesome; love the point.

Thanks so much! You could never post too many pictures of Cape Point or anything else Hatteras Island. Love all your photos!

Great stuff, Daniel. Too bad the Nazi Park Service prohibits human use most of the year. GET THEM OFF THE ISLAND!

Some great shots you have there – more please. I have been down to the Outer Banks many times as a kid and an adult but only got to experience Cape Point in the last couple of years. A real treat, for sure. Thanks for sharing.
