Cody & Kristyn Engagement Session
Engagement sessions are our chance to get to meet, work with, and hang out with our clients. We count ourselves pretty fortunate that we are blessed with incredible clients who really value the experience as well as the images we create. Kristyn and Cody are no exception. Daniel and I met them, and their awesome dog Charlie, at the Elizabethan Gardens on a Saturday in early May. It was one of the warmest days of the year so far, and though the flowers weren’t in full bloom at the Gardens, we took advantage of the greenery and tree cover. After the Gardens we headed to downtown Manteo, and decided to stop for drinks and have a few laughs. We ended the night by Coquina Beach and the Bodie Island Lighthouse for sunset. Two things really stuck out to me about this session. First, Cody & Kristyn were up for anything, and completely in love with each other. They were relaxed and comfortable just being themselves, and that feeling really translates through in photographs. Secondly, the session wasn’t on a timer, and I loved that. The goal wasn’t just to take photos and be done, but to get to know one another. The session took a few hours, but it was a relaxed fun afternoon we all enjoyed. Knowing our clients personalities, their story, helps us to make images that will reflect everything that is unique about their relationship. We can’t wait to work with these guys for their July 2017 wedding!
Note from Kristyn: Thank you so so so much ! We had such a great time with you guys and thank you so much for being so amazing with Charlie. Cody, Charlie and I can’t wait to see you guys next summer 🙂 The pictures are amazing !
